Applicants must be eligible for financial aid and must have completed some academic work at the University of Oregon. Minnie Morden Pre-Medical ScholarshipThe Minnie Morden Pre-Medical Scholarship is a one-year scholarship awarded to an outstanding student who plans a career in medicine. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of scholastic achievement. This scholarship is available to students who will be college sophomores, college juniors, college seniors, or post-bacs in the year that the scholarship is awarded (i.e. the year following their application). The selection process for this scholarship is competitive. The scholarship committee considers academic performance and the student must have declared a career objective of medicine to be eligible. MacKenzie ScholarshipA four year, merit based scholarship awarded to an outstanding student accepted to and attending Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine. Applicants must submit a completed AMCAS form and MCAT scores to Jenni Van Wyk, 364 Oregon Hall, by May 30. Award : A total of $4,300 divided over four years.
