Congratulations Alese Colehour!

Congratulations to Alese Colehour, who received the Best Multidisciplinary Presentation Award from the Applied Ecology, Agroecology, and Human Ecology section of the Ecological Society of America for the poster she presented at this year’s ESA meetings in Minneapolis, MN (August 4-9). The poster, “Microbial domestication of cassava beer with indigenous inoculum: A study among Shuar forager-horticulturalists from Amazonia, Ecuador,” was co-authored by Melissa Liebert, Brendan Bohannan, Josh Snodgrass, and Larry Sugiyama. This research was the subject of Alese’s Master’s paper and a manuscript on the topic will be submitted shortly to PLOS ONE. Congratulations Alese!
