University of Oregon and members of the Black Law Students' Association serve as  hosts  for the 2009 Western Region Black Law Student Association's Annual Convention in Portland, Oregon.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Urban League of Portland has released the "State of Black Oregon". The report contains a stark inventory of statistics that show a persistent gap in living standards between black and white Oregonians –
a gap that is growing wider as a result of the current economic downturn. As future leaders of this state we must stay informed on the issues that affect our community.
