Subject: Getting College and University Offers Info to Displaced Students from Katrina

It has been suggested that assistance is needed in reaching displaced students from the Katrina-related environmental disaster in the gulf and that a flyer which can be shared and/or posted where students gather would be helpful in getting them access to the pertinent online resources. Such a flyer can be downloaded and printed, or otherwise shared, here: http://www.scup.org/pdf/katrina.pdf.

It lets students know that SCUP has a Katrina-related informational web page - http://www.scup.org/knowledge/katrina/ - and also a page, linked to that, which lists offers from about 200 colleges and universities - http://www.scup.org/knowledge/katrina/offers.html .
Please help us expedite getting this information into students' hands, as semesters are getting underway and many of these generous offers will expire within the next week.
