JAVA Epidemiology

Thank you for beta testing software for the Biology Software Lab

We will update this list with new bugs as people report them, and with announcements of new versions of the programs that have fixes for the known bugs.

JAVA Epidemiology 1.0 (12/30/99)

Printing is not yet operational.
Saving and opening files is not yet operational.
Figure legends are not yet available, and the colors of the lines in the graphs do not match the colors of the variables in the flowcharts
More tool tips need to be added.
When resetting, the program should prompt the user to save or to set a mark. This is not yet functional.
The values for the y-axis in the population vs. time graph often do not update properly. This is especially a problem when population values are high enough to be represented in exponential notation. To see what the values actually should be, you can use the view the data in spreadsheet or table format. This is also a problem when using multiple trials.
The ability to run and display several trials simultaneously is buggy.
