I'm an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at the University of Oregon. In the fall of 2011, I'll be moving to Northeastern University.

My research is on connections between representation theory, geometry and topology, including knot homology, the geometry of symplectic singularities, and categorification.

From 2008-2010, I was a C.L.E. Moore Instructor at MIT. In 2007-8, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study attending the Special Year on "New Connections of Representation Theory to Algebraic Geometry and Physics" supported by an NSF Fellowship.

I received my Ph.D. in 2007 from UC Berkeley, under the supervision of Nicolai Reshetikhin, and spent the fall of 2006 at the Center for the Topology and Quantization of Moduli Spaces in Aarhus, Denmark. Before that, I studied at Simon's Rock College and the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics Program.
