The Reimbursement Process

After being approved for subsidy, you will receive a letter in the mail indicating your subsidy percentage. If your child attends CCDC (the EMU Child Care Development Center) or Spencer View Co-op, your subsidy percentage will be deducted from your bill. If you child does NOT attend CCDC or Co-op, you MUST complete the following reimbursement process (all international students must fill out a reimbursement, regardless of child care provider):

Important note: your child care provider must be registered with the state of Oregon. If your provider is NOT registered with the state, you MUST request a background check on your provider. The background check costs $10 and takes approximately two weeks. For more information on this process, please click here.

Reimbursements may be dropped off in the Subsidy office (located in the Non-Traditional Student Office, Suite 2, EMU); with the ASUO receptionists in the ASUO office (Suite 4, EMU); or in the external drop-box located outside the ASUO office if the office is closed; or faxed to (541) 346-0620.
