The UO Chemistry Department is now accepting applications for Fall 2013. Our priority application deadline is December 15, 2012. Completed late applications will be accepted through January 5, 2013. Instructions and our application can be accessed on our Apply Page

Undergraduate Studies in Chemistry
The UO Chemistry Department offers majors in chemistry and
biochemistry with state of the art facilities and the opportunity to work
with world-class scientists. Undergraduate courses are taught by research
and instructional faculty. Many undergraduates benefit from doing research
in laboratories along with graduate students.

Graduate Studies in Chemistry
Research at the University of Oregon is designed to keep student researchers at the forefront of chemical science. Our programs in the traditional areas of biochemistry, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry lay the foundation for new discoveries in materials science, molecular biology, optics, and theoretical chemistry. Though our department is medium in size, we are a leading innovator in chemistry.
