Color transparency in deeply inelastic diffraction
Abstract:
Experiments at Hera and Tevatron have highlighted hard diffraction, i.e., diffractive events associated with a short distance scattering. A satisfactory theoretical understanding of such events is lacking. This talk discusses open problems in the field, and presents the
elements of a physical picture of diffraction that incorporates perturbative and nonperturbative aspects.
