Live Lit West

an MFA Graduate Student
Reading Series

This series, coordinated by Program students, offers opportunities to first-year students and second-year students to read their work in front of others.

Events are held at Tsunami Books and are free/open to the public.

All are welcome!

Annual Reading Series

Each year, the Creative Writing Program, in partnership with The Robert D. Clark Honors College, sponsors an annual reading series featuring writers from all over the country. Visitors often teach a workshop or conduct a colloquium in addition to giving a public reading.

Past guests of the program have included Richard Bausch, Charles Baxter, Samantha Chang, Michael Collier, Tess Gallagher, Patricia Hampl, Charles Johnson, Yusef Komunyakaa, Philip Levine, N. Scott Momaday, Antonya Nelson, Gary Snyder, Susan Straight, Brain Turner, Tobias Wolff, Randall Kenan, William Logan, and Charles Wright.

2012-2013

All PUBLIC READINGS are free and open to the public.
Book signings follow each reading.
