Sense and Sensitivity: a Regional Symposium on the Arts and Accessibility is a unique opportunity for arts administrators, artists, and presenters to learn about strategies to increase access to Arts programs and facilities for older adults and people with disabilities. Sense and Sensitivity is organized by Arts Midwest in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and in cooperation with state arts agencies in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Representatives from regional, state and local arts agencies, and the individuals and organizations they serve, are all invited to attend this first-ever regional meeting on the arts and accessibility. The 2 1/2 day symposium will feature presentations and panel discussions by acknowledged leaders in the arts and experienced disability specialists. The symposium will also offer many networking opportunities for artists, educators, and administrators during social events and meals.

The symposium registration fee of $135 includes meals, receptions, sessions, and activities. Your registration must be received by Arts Midwest by August 15, 1997.
