North Sister (Oregon Cascades; 10,085')

This mountain, which would be more appropriately called the Ugly Sister, is dangerous. Its summit is guarded by a gully that is very aptly called the Bowling Alley, and to get even there one has to do a traverse that is hard to find in good conditions. I have been on the mountain three times, and have summited twice, and on these three trips I had two very close calls. Maybe this sister is trying to tell me something.
