Developmental Sociobiology Lab (DSL)
Our research focuses on psychological, social, and neurobiological processes that shape very young children’s development - both prenatally and during the first years of life. We are particularly interested in how early family processes become embedded in the neurobiological systems that support emotion regulation and which, over time, foster positive outcomes or to place children at risk for problems in adaptation. The DSLab is located in the Department of Psychology at the University of Oregon.
