Individual Trials:

• Icon Traverses Oval Path 2 Times (Appearing 49 times over 5 sec)
• Icon Stops and Disappears
• Retention Interval of 250 msec
• Test Icon Appears
• Subject Indicates "Same" or "Different"

Between Subject Factor, Counterbalanced:

Rotation Direction (Clockwise vs Counterclockwise)

Within Subject Factors, Blocked and Counterbalanced:

• Animacy (Creature vs Control Icon)
• Facing Direction (Forward vs Backward)

Within Subject Factors, Randomized Within Blocks:

• Starting/Stopping Position (top vs bottom of oval path)
• Test Position (-3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3)

[5 replications of each trial type per block for 70 trials per block; 280 trials per subject]
