I am an experimental geochemist interested in a broad range of problems in earth and space sciences. Natural processes can be most fully understood when observed from multiple perspectives and on different scales, and as such I believe that a multidisciplinary approach is the best way to conduct high-quality research. My research broadly consists of collecting experimental diffusion/thermodynamic data, and attempting to explain the chemical, physical and geochronological trends we observe in natural rocks by applying these experimental data to numerical and analytical models. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oregon, working in the experimental petrology laboratory with Prof. James Watkins.
