More Spring Sitings

The Kimmels found Springbeauty (Claytonia lanceolata) blooming at 1100 feet on the next door clearcut.

Tanya Harvey is enjoying the profuse amount of Snow-queen (Synthris reniformis) blooming this year.

The Clarksons are trying not to step on all of the lovely Slender Toothwort (Cardamine pulcherrima) that's poking up at their place.

Mr. Rufous hummingbird has been spotted in Grant's Pass and Corvallis, but no one's said he's in Eugene yet.

In another week the buds of our Red Flowering Current (Ribes sanguineum) should burst; then we'll once again enjoy his spring acrobatics.
