What: Focused on the intersection of environmental and economic issues, Adam Davis has an impressive resume of work in the field of sustainability. Here is a quick glimpse at some of his achievements:
- Strategic advisor to the Ecosystem Marketplace - a leading source for information on markets and payment schemes for ecosystem services such as water quality, carbon sequestration and biodiversity.
- Ten years serving at Waste Management, Inc., the world's largest recycling and solid waste management company.
- Co-founder and Principal at Natural Strategies, Inc., a management consulting firm working with companies like BP, Lowe Home Improvement, and the California State EPA to integrate sustainability principles into business strategy.
- President of Solano Partners, Inc., a consulting firm focused on environmental economics and conservation finance issues.
- Member of the Advisory Council for the Aldo Leopold Leadership Program where he provides training for environmental scientists from across the United States in communications, public speaking, and media presentation.
- Collaborating Scientist at the Stanford University Center for Conservation Biology.
- Recipient of the 2002 Ecological Society of America corporate award.
