I have an eclectic background that includes a rural farming upbringing, formal education in the "hard" sciences, entrepreneurial experience gained from founding and operating a dance studio, and an enduring passion for blending ecological and creative pursuits. This range of interests and skills provides a solid foundation for my work at ESBL; I have strong problem-solving abilities, am able to quickly and effectively conduct research and analyses, can work well with a variety of people on different projects, and enjoy questioning the assumptions that contribute to our current energy problems.
