Enrollment, Course Fees, and Insurance
Archaeology Field School students will enroll for 8 credits in ANTH 408/508. A course fee of $3300, for both in-state and out-of-state students, covers tuition, field transportation, and food. Most tools and other materials are provided for the course. Students are required to bring expendable equipment (including a trowel, measuring tape, and level) costing approximately $50.

Paleoethnobotanical Field Class students will enroll for 4 credits in ANTH 406. A course fee of $2000, for both in-state and out-of-state students, covers tuition, field transportation, and food. Most tools and other materials are provided for the course. Students are required to bring expendable equipment (including a notebook and tweezers) costing approximately $11.

Health and accident insurance is required for all students. For those who do not have it already, coverage for the period of the course can be obtained through the university at the time of registration for about $445. You may call (541) 346-2770 for insurance information.
