SDI-46
46-item version of the SDI (Survey of Dictionary-based Isms) --
developed in 2011, captures a fifth dimension as well as the basic four; consists of 23 item-pairs. Scoring information for the SDI-46 is HERE.

The 46-item version is recommended as the best current measure of isms factors.  Also available are the items and the scoring information in pdf format.

Interested in a shorter version, or in comparing shorter and longer versions of the same instrument (while administering both)? A subset of items having a more clearly defined factorial structure in American data, but less comprehensiveness, is a 'Core 25' from the SDI-46. Available are the items and scoring information; items in the SDI-46 but not Core 25 are gray shaded on these pdf documents.

If you are interested in examining earlier versions of such measures, which have been used in some previous research, here are three previous versions:

40 item version of the SDI (Survey of Dictionary-based Isms), developed in 2009; early draft measure capturing a fifth dimension as well as the basic four

28 item very brief version of SDI (Survey of Dictionary-based Isms), developed in 2003, referenced in Saucier, 2008

28 item very brief version of SDI-B (Survey of Dictionary-based Isms, Version B), developed in 2000, captures the four dimensions as they appeared in the original lexical study of isms
