Here are some links enjoyed both by me, Harriett, and by my alter-ego, Juliet Campion. While Harriett spends her days working as a cataloger in the Metadata Services and Acquisitions division of the Knight Library in Eugene, Oregon in the opening years of the 21st century, Juliet has her home in the west of England during the days of Queen Elizabeth I, where she has amused herself in the evenings by singing madrigals with a group of lusty lords and lovely ladies. At Christmastide, they oft times magically transported themselves to Harriett's town to sing at a madrigal dinner given by the Eugene Vocal Arts Ensemble. That sweet festival still goes on, but Harriett is not currently seated at the high table with her companions. From 2001 to 2004 Harriett sang with the Eugene Chamber Singers, and she has sung with the Eugene Symphony chorus since it was organized.

In both lives, I love to curl up with a good book, a fire, a cup of tea, and a cat on the lap. In the summer, I pick fruit and make jams and preserves, just as Juliet did in her time. When time permits I sing with the Eugene Sacred Harp Singers. In the summer, we often sing out at the Oregon Country Faire, and in 1999 held our yearly August Sing in conjunction with the Oregon Festival of American Music. In the summer of 1998 I was thrilled to have the opportunity to sing in Canterbury, England, with the Berkshire Choral Festival.
