UO CASE STUDY HALL OF FAME |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Case studies using the Vital Signs approach became an integral part of many architectural curricula in 1999. The University of Oregon introduced case study investigations as a 5-week project in the Environmental Control Systems course sequence in Fall 1999 (Professors Walter Grondzik and Alison Kwok). Approximately 40-50 case studies are developed each term. The best case studies developed each term are posted to the Hall of Fame after a sequence of peer reviews. Selection criteria include clarity of hypothesis and investigative intent, validity of approach and method, and quality of Web-based presentation. Our congratulations to the developers of these exemplary case studies.
