Renner Johnston
Mogavero Notestine Associations
Since joining Mogavero Notestine Associations in 1997, Renner Johnston has served as Project Manager on various residential, retail and mixed-use projects. Renner places specific emphasis on elements of each project that provide for pedestrian-friendly environments, accessibility to transportation, and sustainability. He is a University of Oregon graduate and HOPES coordinator alumni.
Nathan Good, Architect
Nathan Good is a registered architect, certified interior designer, facilitator of integrated design teams and serves as a green building consultant to architectural and engineering firms throughout the US and Canada. Through his own architectural firm, he designs energy efficient and environmentally responsible homes, wineries, and owner-occupied commercial buildings. One of his current projects is on track to generate more energy than it consumes on an annual basis. Nathan was was named the “2000 Energy Manager of the Year” by the Association of Professional Energy Managers and was honored in 2003 by the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance for his advocacy of high-performance buildings in Oregon. In November of 2004, Nathan was profiled by the Sustainable Industries Journal as one of “25 Green Building Leaders in the Northwest”.
Josh Bruce
Rainbow Valley Design & Construction
Based in Eugene, OR Rainbow Valley was founded in 1971 as a design/build firm. Originally organized as a cooperatively-owned corporation, Rainbow Valley is now owned by ten equal partners. The owners represent a diverse pool of collective skills. They are carpenters, business managers, architecture school graduates and former independent licensed general contractors. Their expertise ranges from custom homes to transformational remodels to simple additions.

Steve Badanes
Jersey Devil
Steve Badanes attended Wesleyan University for undergraduate studies and Princeton University, where he received a master's degree in architecture. He has conducted design/build workshops at the University of Technology in Helsinki, the University of Oregon, the University of Washington, the University of Miami, Ball State University, the University of California San Diego, and Florida A&M University. Badanes is a founder of Jersey Devil, an architectural firm perpetuating the tradition of medieval craftsmen.
Jeff Cutler

Jeff is a principal of space2place and a registered landscape architect. He is the lead designer on projects and works directly on concept and design development. Jeff has served as project landscape architect for a number of high profile projects in British Columbia, across Canada and California. Noteworthy projects include Hastings Park and New Brighton Park in Vancouver, Desert Willow Golf Resort in California and Northwest Community College in Prince Rupert.
