The following represent 'constellations' of courese that offer the student the opportunity to develop a coherent program of study.
The City: HUM 254. There are three versions of this course. Students may earn credit for only one of these courses.
- The first, typically taught in Fall Term, is built around the experience of Classical Athens, Renaissance Florence and 20th Century Berlin.
- The second version, usually offered in the Spring Term, is built around the experience three American Cities, New York, Chicago and Los Angelees.
- Their third variant, often taught in the winter term, is built around the experience of three modern European cities, Vienna, Paris and London, and also in reference to the urban experience of the Pacific Northwest.
