Dear Folks: I'd like to schedule a face-to-face conversation regarding the impact the PERS employers contribution rate reduction has had on the employer contribution rates for the OUS Optional Retirement Plan (ORP), so all the people involved can hear and respond to the options before us. We can use a conference room here at the OUS Salem office, 544 Ferry St. SE, Suite 3.

The first available dates and times that look good are : Thursday, January 8, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., and Friday, January 9, any time between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The people invited include: Denise Yunker, OUS HR; Mike Green, OUS Controller; Lisa Zavala, OUS Gov Rel; Peter Gilkey, President, IFS; Mark Nelson / Bill Linden, AOF; Dave / Tom Barrows, AAUP-PSU; Rob Wagner, AFT-Oregon; John Powell, VALIC.

Please respond as soon as you can. This office will be closed for two weeks beginning Monday, December 22, but I will monitor my e-mail on a daily basis and notify each of you on the best time and date. Terri Ruddell of this office (503-373-7490) will provide details on directions and parking.
