I am a third year Economics PhD Student at the University of Oregon. My research focuses on first measuring income inequality at local geographic scales (e.g. at the metropolitan area level) and then estimating the real impact of local level income inequality on outcomes of economic and social interest. I strive to produce policy relevant research with credible econometric results, keeping an eye towards estimating causal effects whenever possible.
