Testing Access on Darkwing/Gladstone (cf Oregon)

Did you specify the URL correctly? Check syntax and the case of letters.

Is the file actually there in the public_html subdirectory? Use telnet to check.

Have you changed the protection of your directory? Use "ls -ld public_html" and "ls -l public_html" to check. You need:

• home directory, at least 711 ("drwx--x--x" world execute)
• public_html directory, at least 755 ("drwx-r-xr-x" world read+execute)
• individual file, at least 644 ("-rw-r--r--" world read).
