End of the gallery known as the Salon d'Or in the Comte de Toulouse's Paris House. Interior designed by Robert de Cotte working with the architect Vassé.



Commonde veneered in lozenge design, design dates from about 1715. Attributed to André Charles Boulle.



Boulle commode made for Louis XIV's room at the Grand Trianon. Date: 1701. Maker and designer: André Charles Boulle. Note female heads called espagnolettes.



Mahogany commode by Charles Cressent. Circa 1730.



Side table of carved and gilt wood with a marble top. Note the strict symmetry and mosaique decoration.



Carved walnut armchair (siege meublants), covered in contemporary floral needlework on black ground. Circa 1720.
