One of the finest examples of Regency design was the 'Trafalgar' chair which reached its height of development in 1805, the year or Nelson's famous victory.

'Grecian' sofa. The absorbtion of classical form into the English furniture traditions is well expressed in the dignified lines of this mahogany sofa made about 1820.
