Recommended First-week Review: Much of sections 1.1-1.4 is review (with the exception of some business and economics terminology). We will move through these topics quickly and with little algebra review. Some additional topics you could consider reviewing are in Appendix A:

Chapter 1 Exam

The first chapter exam will cover sections 1.1-1.6 and will be given in class on Thursday, April 16th. Below you will find an overview of the exam, including some practice problems. As the document notes, there is also list of exercises from the textbook that I encourage you to do. Additionally, you should review all homework and examples done in class, as well as worksheets done in class for the past couple weeks (Worksheets 1-3).

Final Exam

The exam is cumulative and will cover material from Chapters 1, 2, 3 and 4. It will be given on Thursday, June 11th in Deady 306 (our regular classroom) from 2:45-4:45pm. You may bring a 3x5 note card to the exam.
