Math 241: Calculus for Business and Social Science

Spring 2014

This course is taught in intensive learning format. An 11-week course for 4 credits in general demands 38-39 hours of class time and twice that in commitment outside of class (studying, doing homework, etc.). Pack this into four weeks and a prepared student will be attending 2 hours of class per day, plus spending 4 hours per day on work outside of class. If you did not recently take the prerequisite course, or if you have additional classes, day-time family obligations, or work during this time, they will seriously hamper your potential for success.
