I am a Professor in the
Mathematics Department
at the
University of Oregon.
I hold a joint appointment in the institute of Theoretical
Science (ITS) at the University of Oregon and
in the Mathematics Department of the
Universidad de Guadalajara
in Mexico.
I am director of
General Science
at the University of Oregon.
I am one of the organizers of the
Cascade Topology
meeting at the UO May 18-19, 1996.
My research
focus is in algebraic geometry, differential geometry, and
algebraic topology.
