Other lodging options in Eugene

There are two hotels that are offering a special rate to NILI Conference participants:

Phoenix Inn Suites, 850 Franklin Blvd. $109/night. This hotel is a few blocks away from the UO campus, about a 10-15 minute walk to our conference event venues. They offer free breakfast, wi-fi, indoor heated pool, and a complimentary airport shuttle. The rate listed here is the special rate for our conference block. Please call the Phoenix Inn directly,  800-344-0131, and ask for the “Northwest Indian Language Institute” group to reserve. This group rate is only good through May 28, so reserve ASAP!

Hilton Eugene, 66 East 6th Ave. Starting at $131/night. This is located in downtown Eugene, about 1.5 miles to the UO campus, but within blocks of multiple restaurants, shops, and the Hult Center for the Performing Arts. For our conference block, Hilton is offering 15% off their best available rates, complimentary wi-fi and parking, and a complimentary shuttle to UO (subject to availability). If you would like to book under the conference rate, please use this link.

There are several other reasonably-priced hotels along Franklin Boulevard, walking distance to conference event locations. Examples include the following, with average prices currently listed for the days of our conference:

Best Western New Oregon, 1655 Franklin Blvd. $105/night.

University Inn and Suites, 1857 Franklin Blvd. $110/night.

Excelsior Inn, 754 E 13th Ave. $140/night. This is a cozy, slightly higher-end hotel with an upscale Italian restaurant downstairs. It is right next to campus and there are many dining options within a 2-3 minute walk. It is also small so if you are interested, book early!
