It is with great regret that we announce that, as of the fall 2011 issue—a beautiful tribute to the poet Charles Wright—future publication of the Northwest Review has been suspended.

This was not an easy conclusion for us to reach. However, the current economic climate, as well as the rapidly evolving nature of literary quarterlies today, present challenges that we simply do not have the financial and human resources to overcome.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the years—as readers and as writers.
