Oregon Marine Students Association

What is OMSA?
The Oregon Marine Students Association (OMSA) is a student-fee funded program which enhances the cultural and educational atmosphere of the OIMB campus.

What does OMSA do?

*Sponsor one of the weekly seminar speakers each term

*Provide swim passes at the North Bend public swimming pool

*Sponsor movie nights at the OIMB Boathouse

*Provide recreational equipment such as exercise machines, volleyballs, soccer balls, basketballs and badminton racquets as well as board games and puzzles

*Provide crab pots for student use
(Be sure to follow state regulations)

*Purchase passes for course related trips to the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport

*Sell OIMB-related merchandise and sponsor a T-shirt design contest every term. Students are encouraged to design a T-shirt for printing, and the winner of the best design receives a free shirt! All proceeds from merchandise sales help fund recreational activities and are not directly associated with the ASUO
