payroll: New PWADUCK Form
The new Banner form PWADUCK is now available. This form provides a way to
reserve a Duck ID username for a new employee. If you have local
computing resources in your department that rely on knowing what a new
employee's Duck ID will be prior to their first day of work, you can use
this form to reserve a username for the employee.
Reserving the Duck ID username does not create an email account or provide
access to other central computing services. The reservation process only
associates the Duck ID username with the new employee so that this
reserved name will be used when the Duck ID is claimed and email and other
service access is created.
The PWADUCK form also provides a way to look up a person's Duck ID by UO
ID. A 'personal' Duck ID is one that is currently in use. A 'reserved'
Duck ID value indicates that the username has been reserved, but the Duck
ID has not yet been claimed by the employee.
Access to this form is now available to staff with update ability to
PHAHOUR. For this group of employees, there is no requirement to complete
additional paperwork for access since we have added the PWADUCK form to
the list of forms in the time entry security class.
Other staff, without this level of HRIS access, will need to complete the
FIS/HRIS User Profile Form if they require access to PWADUCK.
See http://baowww.uoregon.edu/forms/fup.pdf for a direct link to the
security access form.
PWADUCK instructions are now available on the Forms page of the Banner
Guide at http://bg.uoregon.edu/hris/CoreOffices/PWADUCK/pwaduck.htm
