Greetings

I am writing to let you know about a staffing change occurring next week 
in the Office of Affirmative Action & Equal Opportunity.  Kathy Cannon has 
just informed me that she will be leaving the office, with Monday, March 
31st as her last day.

Since Kathy has served as a primary contact for many folks on campus with 
respect to unclassified searches and other issues, I am writing to let you 
know how to redirect any questions or other communications that you 
previously have directed to Kathy.  For routine matters, communication via 
email, with phone number included, will best assist us in appropriately 
responding to your needs.  However, you should also feel free to contact 
us by phone at 346-3123.

Please direct all questions and other communications related to 
unclassified searches to Sue Plummer at splummer@uoregon.edu, with a copy 
to Tomas Baiza at tjoaquin@uoregon.edu.

Please direct all questions and other communications related to any matter 
other than unclassified searches to Penelope Daugherty at 
penny@uoregon.edu, with a copy to Terry Leary at tleary@uoregon.edu.

I realize there are many searches and potentially other issues that are in 
process.  To minimize the bumps that may occur through this transition, I 
encourage you to contact the office as indicated above if you were 
expecting something and it has not been forthcoming in the time you would 
normally expect.  Your calls will help us in following up on items in 
process in the most timely manner possible.
