payroll: I-9 Revision

Attention Payroll Administrators:

US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has released a new version 
of Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, with an expiration date 
of 6-30-09 and no other changes. We have been instructed to begin using 
the new form as soon as possible.  To ease this transition, the Payroll 
Office will continue to accept the previous form with an expiration date 
of 6-30-08 that is signed and dated October 1, 2008, or earlier.  Any Form 
I-9 signed October 2, 2008, or later must be the new version with an 
expiration date of 6-30-09.

All bundled hire packets on the Banner Guide, 
http://bg/hris/forms/forms.htm, and the Off-Campus Work-Study information 
on the Business Affairs web site, http://ba/OffCampus/ws.htm, have been 
updated with the new version of the I-9.
