payroll: New Questions On Direct Deposit Form
Effective Sept 18, 2009, the Electronic Payments Association
changed its operating rules requiring all direct deposit payments
ultimately sent outside the U.S. to be identified. Because of
the new laws, Business Affairs has been required to change the
direct deposit form and also to send an email to all employees
and students with an international address on Banner.
The new form and email ask the following question:
"The entire amount of my direct deposit payment is ultimately
deposited to a financial institution outside the U.S. Yes or No?"
We ask that departments begin using this form immediately. It is now
available on the forms page of the Banner Guide and in the bundled
packets.
