payroll: Furlough for July Time Entry & Furlough Balance for FY 10-11



Furlough Leave Balances (Leave Category - XLOW) FY10-11 

Furlough Hours for FY 10-11 are now available by running the Leave Balances Report in PWIPAYR.


Furlough Leave FY 09-10

For July time entry, record any FY 09-10 furlough leave taken in June with the LTZ earn code.  (This applies to both salaried and hourly classified employees.)


Furlough Leave FY10-11

For July time entry, record any FY 10-11 furlough leave taken in the early half of July with the LTW earn code.  (This applies to hourly classified employees.)


Note: 

*  For salaried classified employees, the FY 10-11 furlough leave taken in July will be recorded during August time entry using the earn code, LTW.

*  The LW7 earn code will continue to be used to reduce pay. 

*  The furlough period (both furlough leave taken and default pay reduction) for 9-month classified employees is limited to September 2010 through June 2011.
