payroll: Intenational Employees
This is the first of several emails that you will be receiving on changes
to the Business Affairs website and on the annual renewal process
involving important tax-related forms that must be submitted to the
Payroll Office each January by international employees.
- The international sections of the Business Affairs website have been
revised. Previously, instructions for faculty (teachers and researchers)
and students were found on one page. For ease of understanding, we have
created two separate sections since different rules apply to each group.
- The annual renewal (of "NRA" packets) will no longer be mailed from
Corvallis. Instead, we are planning to notify the international employees
on our campus by email later this week. This year, the deadline for
submission of the documents (or packets) to the Payroll Office is January
7, 2011.
- We will soon be announcing workshops for you to attend. In this way you
can learn more about the changes to the website and...to better assist the
employees in your department if they have questions with the renewal
process.
