payroll: Furlough Processing for 2011-2013




The procedures on the Furlough Processing for 2011 - 2013 are now published on the HRIS Banner Guide http://bg.uoregon.edu/content/hris-human-resource-information-system, under News & Recent Updates. The same information can also be found in the Classified section http://bg.uoregon.edu/node/696#hris-classified, under Other.

There is a significant change in furlough leave reporting for the Furlough Opt-Out Option for both hourly and salaried employees:

- Departments will be required to enter LW7 (furlough reduction of pay)in addition to the LTZ (furlough taken leave) in PHAHOUR each month.

- Please refer to the Crib Sheet for Leave Reporting in PHAHOUR on the Furlough Processing page that provides helpful chart for time entry.

The Payroll Office will be sending departments a list of employees who have elected the Furlough Opt-Out Option.
