Archaeological illustration...
The image on the left is an ink drawing of a projectile point
(collected in Illinois), an artifact of "Early Woodland" culture. The
artifact on the right is a stone which was used to grind food,
possibly eight thousand years ago! Dance lead me to anthropology; from
there I became interested in archaeology. This lead me to scientific
illustration, my way of being able to participate in archaeological field
work. I have joined the Guild
of Natural Science Illustrators on the advice of another
archeological illustrator. Following your heart will take you on a
wonderful journey!
