The Asian/Pacific American Student Union (APASU), Vietnamese Student Union (VSA) and Kultura Filipinas came together as a family to promote diversity at this year's Fall Reception. Honorable guests (MCC Program Advisor Steve Morozumi, APASU Co-Director Jeannice Chien, ASUO Vice-President Joy Nair) voiced their personal battles as a visible minority and embraced the notion of a united nation encouraging groups from divergent demographics to come together. Student representatives from OSU also joined us at the packed event! With sexy dresses, silk ties and slick do's, the KP team were there to eat, enjoy, mingle and, most of all, applaud at a job well done.
