We exchanged disposables with refillables
and the garbage pile grows.. people take notice

Disposables are generated in huge quantities on college campuses. Disposable drink cups (coffee cups being the largest quantity) and bottles (bottled water and other beverages), have become an important issue for Campus Recycling Programs. The University of Oregon Campus Recycling Program has created a Reduce Reuse Refill campaign that has been used to promote use of refillable mugs and discounts for bringing a refillable mug for on-campus beverages.This campaign extends to all beverages including bottled water. With the huge impact of bottled water globally, colleges around the country are also working on promoting refillable water bottles as well. In this section there is information about the refillable mug campaign and also college bottled water campaigns.
