Jimmy Fallon has had some pretty great music-related moments over his two year run as host of Late Night but he topped himself last night. At a taping of the show at the University of North Carolina campus, Jimmy opened with a Dave Matthews-assisted ode to the ‘walk of shame’, followed by ‘slow-jamming the news’ with Barack Obama, then capped the show by unveiling a new song from Dave Mathews Band’s upcoming album. Oh yeah, he found time to interview the freakin’ President of the United States of America in between all of that (watch that here). It might have been the best late night show ever. Maybe. I’m not a late night TV historian…yet. Props to The Roots for providing the musical backdrop to all of this, proving they’re one of the coolest bands ever. Alright, catch the clips below.
