SPED 607 Advanced Research Design follows introductory courses in research design and statistics and is intended to provide a deeper understanding of educational research with an emphasis on principles of research design and their use in applied research.  The main topics covered in the course will be measurement, research design, and statistical applications relevant for study design. Emphasis in the course is on the mastery of concepts and principles, development of skills for planning and conducting research, and in the development of critical analysis skills in understanding research.
