Does my research agenda fit into my classroom instruction? How much should I involve students in my own research analysis? Are there limits to introducing my own research into classes I teach? How transparent should the process of working my research into my instruction be?
Most college level faculty have two roles: researchers and instructors. Many times it becomes a challenge to combine these two seemingly different academic areas. But when we really explore the two roles, it becomes clear that all instructors incorporate their research interests at some level. Join colleagues from around campus in a discussion about the issues of merging and blending academic research with classroom instruction.
