travelnews: Phoenix Airport Rental Car Changes

Starting on January 19th, there will be a new Car Rental Center open at
Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and new procedures will apply for pick up or
return of rental cars. 

What travelers need to know.......

    The new facility will centralize the airport based rental car
companies, creating a more modern and efficient rental car system.

   All car rental companies will use a common multiple-colored "Rental
Car Shuttle" bus.  Customers will no longer have to look for individual
rental car company buses.

   Upon arrival at Phoenix, proceed to the airport curb at the baggage
claim level.  Look for the pick up area of the "Rental Car Shuttle",
which will take passengers to the center to rent vehicles.  There will
no longer be rental car counters in the terminals.

   After returning a car to the Rental Car Center, proceed up to the
customer service lobby and through the lobby to the bus curb.  Board the
"Rental Car Shuttle" bus going to your departure terminal.  The trip is
approximately 5-8 minutes.
