Robert Crist, MD
Robert Crist, MD has served as team physician since 1993. A native from Springfield, Ohio, Dr. Crist graduated with a B.A. in Anatomy and Physiology with Phi Beta Kappa honors at Indiana University. He received his M.D. from Indiana Medical School in 1961. Following his internship and residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan (1961 - 1963), and two years of military service in the U.S. Public Health Service, Dr. Crist established himself in the Eugene area with his family practice. He was also medical director of Sacred Heart's emergency department for six years through 1992. Other notables include his position as Chief of Staff at Sacred Heart General Hospital (1983 - 1985) and President of the Lane County Medical Society (1975 - 1976).
